Score Analysis Meeting
At midday of 11th January, 2019, Anqing Foreign Language School’s Senior High Department held the regular meeting for the score analysis of the first joint examination in Grade 12 in the conference room on the first floor of the administrative building. The meeting was presided over by Vice Director Cao Siqing and attended by Principal Assistant Qian Zhihong, Deputy Director Liu Qiongdan and all the teachers from the 12th grade.
First of all, Vice Director Cao Siqing pointed out that it was only 147 days before the College Entrance Examination, which not only meant the bottleneck period, slack period and exhaustion period for the 12th grade, but also the critical period for Grade 12 to prepare for the exam. Therefore, Vice Director Cao Siqing requested each class teacher to determine the list of the students who performed stably, regressed significantly or progressed faster respectively based on the three test results of this semester. Also, the head teachers were asked to pay close attention to the score fault problems. In view of the current status of the results and problems in students’ learning state, Vice Director Cao Siqing put forward a series of countermeasures to attach great importance to advance and retreat, find new promising students as well as lay emphasis on the issues of mobile phones and puppy love management.
Second of all, Principal Assistant Qian Zhihong stressed that teachers and students needed to overcome the plateau period, make corresponding changes according to the changes in the College Entrance Exam under the new situation, make clear the teaching objectives and cultivate students’ test abilities, especially in question analysis, normative answering, time arrangement, psychological adjustment and the new changes of arts and sports policies. In the meantime, Principal Assistant Qian Zhihong required each lesson preparation group to complete the second round of revision of the topic catalogue as soon as possible so as to prepare for the second-round review in advance.
Overall, through the score analysis of the first joint examination, the meeting conducted reflection of the exam preparation in Grade 12 in the current stage. May the teachers lead all the 12th-grade students to support the ideal of life with faith, inspire youth with wisdom and achieve regretless time with diligence in the following preparation for the College Entrance Examination.
